Many neurodivergent individuals are capable of living on their own but need some level of support to ensure safety & quality of life, especially during the initial transition.

Skill Development

Making the jump to living independently can be overwhelming both for parents and their adult children! Identifying skill gaps and creating a practical plan to develop those skills makes progress clear and attainable. With goals and strategies in place, and a dedicated coach to provide accountability and encouragement, our clients learn to develop skills such as:

  • Financial management.

  • Home management.

  • Proper hygiene & self-care.

  • Time management Social & community engagement.

  • Medical management.

Through in-home support, a coach can help:

  • Identify skills to practice/improve.

  • Develop tools to support success (ex. cleaning checklists, meal plans, visual reminders etc.).

  • Recommend community resources.

  • Monitor overall state of living environment.

  • Provide parents/family members with peace of mind via regular check-ins and reports.
